PREMIUM SALTWATER FLY REEF SQUID

The Reef Squid represents the irresistible bait for many predatory fish, the squid. Tied on a 2/0 predator saltwater fly hook and approximately 10cm long, the squid is a fishing fly bursting with movement. This fly is well suited to the slow retrieves. The artificial hairs in the tail allow the water to be shed quickly meaning it is a relatively light pattern when casting. The tentacles are made with long ostrich hackles and the marabou body provides great movement in the water. The silicone head provides buoyancy for a slow sinking lure allowing you to fish the upper levels of the water. Can be used in the surf or shallows of tropical waters.
